Meredith is an expert in building and leading high-quality, customer-oriented organizations. Her career includes start-up and large company general management experience. Before launching Taylor Consulting, Meredith served as President of The Tech Museum of Innovation in San Jose, California. Prior to joining The Tech, Meredith was CEO of two venture capital-funded start-ups. In 2000, she founded SeniorSurfers, a technology education company providing computer and Internet training to Older Adults. Prior to launching SeniorSurfers, she served as President and CEO of CookExpress.com, an e-commerce start-up producing and delivering gourmet meals. Previously, Meredith spent 11 years at American Restaurant Group (ARG) as a principal in this corporation formed to buy Marriott Corporation's restaurant portfolio. She last served as Senior Vice President of the company's flagship chain, Stuart Anderson's Black Angus Restaurants. Meredith has proven expertise in virtually all-functional areas, having served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Development, Vice President of Construction and Real Estate, Vice President of Operations, and CFO at ARG. Before participating in the LBO that formed American Restaurant Group, she held Vice President of Finance positions at Marriott Corporation, and Saga FoodService. Meredith holds an MBA from the Santa Clara University where she has been a guest lecturer in the MBA Entrepreneurship program and an Adjunct Professor teaching Ethics and Finance. In addition to serving on MentorNet's Board, Meredith is a Women's Technology Cluster mentor and serves on the advisory board of several early-stage companies.
